Advising Night is your chance to meet your advisor, find out about what's being offered this summer and fall, find out about any changes in the major, and generally be updated on all thing DTC.

Summer 2009 Internship
Position: Web Developer
Location: Prosser, WA/Richland, WA *but* can be done remotely from Pullman
Timeline: June 8 - August 7, 15-20 hrs/week, PAID
Details: Doug Walsh (Coordinator of Integrated Pest Management) and Sally O'Neal (Research and Extension Communication Specialist) are looking for a Web Developer to update the IPM website (http:www.ipm.wsu.edu) to conform with the new WSU web standards (http://www.identity.wsu.edu/web/) and to perform other web design/maintenance tasks as needed and as time permits. The student will be under supervision of Sally O'Neal, but will work primarily on his/her own in order to implement the new template and to add any new content requested by Walsh or O'Neal.
Skills Required:
* Ability to carefully follow written instructions (a necessity for implementing WSU templates)
* Familiarity with CSS/XHTML
* Familiarity with FTP
* Proficiency with Dreamweaver
* Good time management skills
* Self-motivated and deadline driven
* Comfortable with teleconferencing
